Near Drowning Involving Teen, 15, Reported In Rocky Hill: Police
It was reported a fifteen-year-old had been located in the water, was unconscious, and bystanders were performing CPR, police said.
ROCKY HILL, CY — At 6:54 p.m. Thursday, Rocky Hill Police Communication Center received an emergency 911 telephone call reporting a drowning at Concierge Apartments located at 98 Cold Spring Road, police said.
A fifteen-year-old had been located in the water, was unconscious, and bystanders were performing CPR, police said.
Responding officers located the teen and continued medical aid until the arrival of Rocky Hill Volunteer Ambulance and Aetna Ambulance, police said. The teen regained consciousness and began to communicate with emergency personnel, police added. The teen was in stable condition and taken to a local hospital for further evaluation and care.

The name of the teen will not be released, and no further information will be provided at this time, as the incident is not criminal in nature, police added.
"The Rocky Hill Police Department extends thanks to the bystanders and first responders who provided immediate assistance," police said in a statement.
