Two "Comedy House" shows at AfterHours on Saturday night, May 11

In today's stressed-out world, laughter is good medicine.

AfterHours, the popular live entertainment venue adjacent to the Apostle Gift Store at 50-C Spring Street in Southington, will feature a fun evening of clean comedy with no cursing or X-rated jokes on Saturday, May 11.

Two "Comedy House" shows will be presented at 7 pm and 9 pm. Doors open 30 minutes before each show. Early-bird food and VIP seating options are available. Tickets range from $20 to $40.

Both Comedy House shows will be hosted by "Dr. B," T.C. Brantley from Waterbury. The headliner will be Annie Powell. Other comedians in the lineup include Carlos Garcia and Gerry Williams, the weekday morning drive-time co-host on WIHS 104.9 FM radio in Middletown. Drew Crandall, who serves as President of WIHS, will share "The Gospel according to Smiley." Each audience participant will receive an adorable bendable Smiley as a house gift.
