Large Amount Of Drugs Seized, Man Charged: Stamford PD

STAMFORD, CT — A 42-year-old man found with large quantities of heroin/fentanyl and crack cocaine was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Stamford, according to police.

Adrian Clack, of Bridgeport, was taken into custody near the Bell Street parking garage around 12:30 p.m., police said. He was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell greater than an ounce.

The Stamford Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime Squad received information that Clack was coming from Bridgeport to sell drugs in the Stamford area, Assistant Stamford Police Chief Richard Conklin said.

Following a three-week investigation, officers moved in and arrested Clack while he was in his car on Bell Street, Conklin said.

Overall, officers recovered 438 bags of heroin/fentanyl totaling 125 grams, and 29 bags of crack cocaine, a little over 85 grams, Conklin said, noting that the bags contained a depiction of Walter White, also known as Heisenberg, the main character in the TV show "Breaking Bad."

Officers also found Clack in possession of $845 in cash, Conklin added.

Clack was given a bond of $25,000 with a court date of Aug. 28.
