New Date Announced For Stamford Downtown's Heights & Lights Event
The event was originally scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 3, but it was postponed due to weather.
STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Downtown's Heights & Lights event was originally scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 3, but rain forced a postponement.
The highly-anticipated holiday event will now take place on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m.
Santa Claus and friends are scheduled once again for Reckson’s "Rappelling Santa." They will make their daredevil descent down the 22 stories of the Landmark Building, then zip-line to the library where there will be fireworks.

After the rappel, Santa’s busy holiday schedule will take him straight up Bedford Street to Latham Park where he will join the Stamford community for holiday music and the lighting of the holiday tree.
