Stamford Resident To Compete In Junior Golf Tournament

The American Junior Golf Association qualifier and open championship begins on Sunday at The Summit Club in Westchester County, N.Y.

STAMFORD, CT — The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) qualifier and open championship begins on Sunday at The Summit Club in Westchester County, N.Y., and included in the field is a Stamford resident.

Zachary Munno will compete in the event, which will feature 96 of the country's best juniors from 19 states stretching from Oregon to Florida in addition to international players from Canada, China, Mexico and New Zealand.

Also locally, Elias Kennon, Chad Ruggiero and Andrew Stickel, all from Greenwich, will participate, along with Cameron Besaw from New Canaan.
