WWE's Triple H Undergoes Surgery At Yale; Full Recovery Expected

The procedure was due to a "cardiac event" caused by a genetic heart issue, WWE said.

STAMFORD, CT — Popular wrestler Paul Levesque – known to fans as Triple H – is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing a procedure for a heart issue at Yale New Haven Hospital last week.

Levesque, 52, is the executive vice president of global talent strategy and development at Stamford-based World Wrestling Entertainment. The company released a statement about him:

"Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event," WWE said on its website. "The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery."
