SUFFIELD, CT — Summer is almost over for students in the Suffield public school system, and the 2024-25 calendar has been posted.
The first day of school in Suffield is scheduled for Aug. 29. Professional development is slated for the three days prior.
The last day is slated for June 11.

- Sept. 2: Labor Day
- Sept. 23: Professional development (no school)
- Oct. 14: Columbus and Indigenous Peoples Day
- Nov. 5: Professional development (no school)
- Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving recess
- Dec. 23-Jan. 1: Winter recess
- Jan. 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Feb. 17-19: Winter recess/Presidents Day
- April 14-18: Spring break/Good Friday
- May 26: Memorial Day
- June 14: Suffield High School graduation
