Classes start September 7th, 2024. We are a professional German Saturday School with two campuses: Stamford and West Hartford.
If you are looking to learn German in a friendly and encouraging 
environment, we are the perfect fit for you. We will provide students of
 all ages and language levels with effective, fun, and creative German 
lessons. Improve your German language skills while experiencing the 
culture and traditions of German Speaking countries.
PreK to High School and Adult Classes on Saturday mornings from 
9:30AM to 12:15PM. We also offer Adult Online Classes on weeknights and a
 Corporate Language Program at a day and time of your choice. 
Deutsches Sprachdiplom satisfying German University entrance language
 requirements. Best CT results in the National German AATG Exams.

Early College Apps: Is It Worth the Rush? (Free Workshop)

EXPERIENCE ITALY AT A GRAND ITALIAN FESTIVAL
AVON, Connecticut - Prince Thomas of Savoy (PTS), the Italian American Club, located in Avon, will host their fourth annual "Valley-Wide" Italian festival called La Festa Italiana. This two-day event is at the club's facilities at 32 Old Farms Rd, Avon CT. Shuttle bus parking at Residence Inn. The first day is Friday September 13th (4:00 PM - 9:30 PM) and the second day is Saturday September 14th (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)
"We would like to invite everyone to help celebrate our Italian heritage," said Carmelo Mangiafico, Event Co-Chair.
This family- friendly event will feature a taste of Italy with locally made foods, cultural demonstrations, Free Live Music, Italian Car Showcase and contests.
Food booths will include Pizza from E&amp;D Pizza, Fried Dough, cannoli, Italian cookies, meatball grinders, PTS Italian dipping oil and Italian ice. Italian coffees served by Coffeeology.
Activities on Saturday include a meatball eating contest, the great grape stomping contest the cheese roll contest as well as Limoncello and ricotta cheese making.
"We are very excited to once again offer free live music for both Friday and Saturday. Come and enjoy our amazing food and stay and listen to a variety of live entertainment." said Dean Zappalorti, Event Co-Chair.
Live entertainment on Friday begins with Jimmy Mazz. Jimmy is a regular at PTS and his Vegas Style show complete with Italian Crooner classics never disappoints. Closing out the Friday Night Live music is The Savage Brothers Band, a staple in Connecticut and throughout New England since 1984. 
On Saturday we will have a famous Italian dance group Sorelle D'Italia in America, Vittorio Di Carlo "The Graceful Tenor" and to finish off the night, the 10-piece classic rock band Johnny Six Gun.

Heralded by Rolling Stone and Billboard Magazine, Amy Speace is a leading voice in the new generation of&nbsp;contemporary folk and Americana. Her songs have been recorded by Judy Collins, Red Molly, and Sid Selvidge among others. Over 20 years of touring, she has played concerts all across the U.S. and Europe and has graced stages from Glastonbury Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival in the UK to Rocky Mountain Folks Festival and Mountain Stage. She began her career in the iconic folk venues of New York City, where she was discovered by Judy Collins. Now residing in Nashville, she has been embraced by the songwriting community, with regular shows and international touring.

Ray Harrington is an infectiously charming comedian who performs across the globe with hilariously irreverent material and marvelous improvisational riffing that embraces the uncomfortable and the absurd with a smile. Linda Belt is a New Jersey native (a comedy routine in itself). She moved to CT in 1987 where she became a suburban pillar of the community attending PTO meetings and baseball games. Linda became very tired holding up that pillar and instead holds her own as a professional stand up comic. Her humor touches on the absurdities of modern life and explores marriage, sex, parenting and social mores, in other words: any subject she feels like discussing! Linda has performed throughout the US and Canada and has been featured in a number of comedy festivals, including the Hogtown Comedy Festival (Toronto) the Detroit Comedy Festival, the Long Island Comedy Festival, The Women in Comedy Festival (Boston), Laugh Your Asheville Off, Asheville, NC and the Boston Comedy Festival. Her many venues have included: The Comedy Stop at the Tropicana (Atlantic City) Mohegan Sun with Tree House Comedy, Turning Stone Casino, Broadway Comedy Club (NYC) &amp; The Laugh Factory (NYC) as part of the "Broads of Broadway" show, The Comedy Cove ( New Jersey), Yuk Yuks International: Toronto &amp; Halifax, Brew Ha Ha Comedy Club at City Steam (Hartford), Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle (Detroit), Magooby's (Baltimore), Snickerz Comedy Club (Ft.
