West Hartford Library Helping First-Time Home Buyers

The library is hosting a special program for those looking to buy their first homes on Aug. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Noah Webster Library.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Those looking to purchase their first-ever home are invited to attend a free, in-person workshop next week at the Noah Webster Library, which is part of the West Hartford Public Library System.

The workshop is Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the meeting room at the library, which is located at 20 S. Main St.

According to the library, there are still 88 seats available as of Tuesday morning.

The event will feature attorney Shari Ann Madho and mortgage broker Lisa Long the program is expected help those looking to buy their first home with information such as: How to find the right home; Signing a real estate contract; How to secure home loans; and how to improve one's credit score, among other topics.
