NoVa, DC Retail Stores Open On Labor Day 2021

WASHINGTON, DC — Shoppers in northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., who want to snag some late-summer deals on Labor Day will have a few opportunities, as most retail stores will remain open for regular hours on the Monday holiday.

Costco, a membership store, is among the few chain retailers closing for the day.

Below are a few retail stores in the DC region that will remain open on Labor Day.

Barnes & Noble: Will be open for their regular store hours, according to a RetailMeNot blog listing stores that will be open on Labor Day.

Best Buy: Will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to RetailMeNot.

Costco: All locations close on Labor Day, according to Romper.

CVS: Most locations are open Monday, according to a Reader’s Digest rundown of stores that will be open on the holiday. Some pharmacies will have reduced hours, though, so check with your local stores.

Dollar Tree: Will be open regular hours, according to RetailMeNot.

GAP: Will be open for regular hours, according to TheHolidayHours.com.

Home Depot: Will be open Monday, according to Reader’s Digest. Check your local store for its specific hours.

JCPenney: Most stores will be open for regular hours, according to HolidayShoppingHours.com.

Lowe’s: This home improvement store will be open on the holiday, Reader’s Digest said.
