KENANSVILLE, FL — Wild Florida recently shared some claw-some news, the birth of an albino alligator in its Gator Park.

The alligator's birth came during a 60-day incubation period oversaw by the park's Croc Squad, park officials said. The newborn's name has not been released.

"With the hard work and dedication of our Croc Squad, we worked together to produce one perfect healthy albino alligator hatchling this season," the Croc Squad's Andrew Ayala said in the release. "We are most proud of the parents, Snowflake and Blizzard, who continue to beat the odds and be a one-of-a-kind experience for guests."

The egg incubation period was one that included closely monitoring the eggs in a climate-controlled room that could solely be accessed by the Croc Squad, park officials said.

Wild Florida plans to showcase the baby alligator at the Gator Park after it is one month old, park officials said.
