Altruistic Beauty Academy was founded by Christina Sisler, CEO and Registered Nurse (RN). Sisler has served as an RN since 2017 and previously worked for DaVita in kidney care. She has long had a passion for the beauty field and education. Over the years Sisler noticed a need for hybrid programs in the area and started looking up statistics and graduation information. She decided she wanted to make a different type of program.

Ericka Dunlap has worked in the beauty field for most of her life and loves to give back. Sisler believes the bond between the two entrepreneurs is driven by their values and passion for community. As an ambassador, Dunlap is lending her voice and passion to students and helping to motivate and inspire others. Sisler hopes to become more embedded in the community in Clearwater.

"I was immediately attracted to the name 'Altruistic Academy' because it signifies putting others first and genuinely caring for them, regardless of any personal connection. Christina and her team embody this principle with their sincere dedication to helping students not only receive an education but also enhance their lives and careers beyond the classroom," said Ericka Dunlap, Brand Ambassador.

Brittany Jones wrote about the program: "When I first became a student at AMBA I didn’t know what to expect. I was changing my career from insurance to beauty. Seeing all the hard work that one of my best friends and CEO put into this school gave me a taste of how successful it would become. Inspiring others to chase their dreams, infusing them with the information they need to know in order to succeed and motivating them to be creative in their brand is what they will always stand by. In my personal experience I felt that I became a member of a family. A family that is patient and always positive whenever you walk in the door."

"Within the professional team, I was privileged enough to be taught by experienced educators. Educators that gave so much of themselves each and every day. Now I am off to begin my new career as an Aesthetician and will continue my education within the licensed massage therapy program. Taking this jump was one of the most important things I have done in my life and I cannot wait to make a difference in others lives."

Sisler notes that while many beauty schools are 5 days a week or 4 days a week, the goal at Altruistic Beauty Academy is to provide a more flexible schedule for busy students who might need to maintain their jobs or take care of kids or family members. Programs are blended to students and there is also a focus on affordability and class sizes that are small for a better learning experience.

The school also offers resources to students including an alumni organization and skills for running your own independent businesses such as marketing advice and training. There is also a focus on the medical field with the industry moving more in the direction of medicine and beauty together.

Altruistic Beauty Academy is located at 1253 Park St. in Clearwater, Florida. Call (727) 900-4370 to schedule a tour.
