SARASOTA, FL — One person was injured in an early Tuesday shooting in Sarasota, authorities said.

The shooting happened near the 1500 block of 31st Street just after 3 a.m., according to a Sarasota Police Department news release.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
