June 2021 Bungalow Alert Hybrid Transportation Improvement Program Meeting

The Hillsborough MPO public hearing on the latest Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is June 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. Once again, FDOT is pressuring the MPO to approve interstate expansion.

We've had massive turnout for this hearing in the past, and although it's a pain to do it via computer, we still need all the anti-TBX comrades to join in and show the MPO that we want something other than more destructive interstate projects. Check out the event flyer for more information.

We encourage OSH residents to support:

  • No adding interstate lanes through OSH
  • Funding the streetcar expansion and CSX lines
  • No taking homes to expand the downtown interchange, which tears apart the heart of the city's urban core communities

The Spring Issue of The Seminole Heights Advisor Out Now The Seminole Heights Advisor is

Save the Date: Seminole Heights Garden Tour's 5th Anniversary is Oct 24

By Cinda Hitchcock

Oct. 24 is the Seminole Heights Garden Tour Fifth Anniversary! Who knew when we came up with an idea to raise funds for the Friends of the Seminole Heights Library so we could continue to sponsor SummerFest (an all-day neighborhood children's event), that the tour would be so successful! The garden tour is now an established Seminole Heights community event and we would like to again thank all the gardeners who graciously volunteered their gardens in the past and our volunteers, the library staff, and the leadership team.

We are actively looking for gardens to feature on this year's tour, Sunday, Oct. 24.

If you would like to have your garden featured on the tour, please contact us at: [email protected]

Seminole Heights Garden Tour Seminole Heights Library News Friends of the Seminole Heights Library are pleased to announce the opening of The Old Oak Bookstore, July 19. The bookstore is located on the first floor of the Seminole Heights Library, 4711 N Central Ave.
