Boater Rescued From Waters Near St. Pete Pier: U.S. Coast Guard

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A boater was rescued Sunday from waters near the St. Pete Pier.

U.S. Coast Guard Station St. Petersburg and Sea Tow Tampa Bay crews assisted him after his 45-foot boat began taking on water, the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast wrote in a Facebook post.

The station’s crew brought the man, who was nauseous, to EMS waiting for him at the pier.
