ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Officers are searching for a 34-year-old man who intentionally ran over and killed his brother early Monday morning, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release.

Detectives believe Tyree Gland hit his brother, 35-year-old Taiwan Gland, with a vehicle twice early Monday morning on 7th Avenue South, near 12th Street South.

Police were called to the intersection, where they found the victim, around 2:40 a.m. He died at the scene, police said.
