Man Killed In Gandy Blvd. Crash: FL Highway Patrol

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — One person is dead after a truck leaving the RaceTrac gas station at 12025 Gandy Blvd. was hit by a car Monday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The truck, driven by a 43-year-old St. Petersburg man, was heading east on Gandy Boulevard as he left the gas station just before 10 a.m. and turned into the car’s path.

The car, driven by an 18-year-old Brandon man, was heading west on Gandy Boulevard at the time of the crash, FHP said.

Neither driver was injured in the crash. The truck’s passenger, a 58-year-old St. Petersburg man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
