Man Who Punched Diner At St. Pete Restaurant Sought By Police: Watch

Detectives are looking for a man who punched a patron at The Lure restaurant in downtown St. Pete on Dec. 30, police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Detectives are looking for a man who punched a patron at a St. Petersburg restaurant on Dec. 30, authorities said. (Watch a surveillance footage video of the suspect below.)

The suspect punched a 68-year-old man at The Lure, 661 Central Ave. N., multiple times, causing him to fall off his chair, St. Petersburg police wrote in a Facebook post.

The suspect is about 40 to 50 years old, has a medium build and a shaved head with gray hair on the sides. He also has tattoos on both arms.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 727-893-7780 or use the anonymous Tip-411 by texting “SPPD” and the tip to 847-411.
