Missing Fisherman’s Body Recovered From Water: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The body of a missing commercial fisherman was recovered from the water Tuesday, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release.

The wife of Juan Bueno Sanchez, 45, reported him missing Feb. 23 after she was unable to reach him for several days.

He worked on a shrimp boat in St. Petersburg, police said.

The U.S. Coast Guard, St. Petersburg police and other agencies searched local waters for Bueno Sanchez. St. Petersburg Fire Rescue retrieved his body from the water earlier Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing, but no foul play is suspected, police said.
