  1. Richmond County schools have taken action following the arrest of Corey Adams, a 26-year-old custodian at Terrace Manor Elementary who has been charged with attempted child molestation. In response, the school has placed Adams on unpaid leave while conducting an internal investigation, emphasizing their commitment to cooperation with the Richmond County Sheriff's Department. According to court documents, Adams allegedly attempted to meet an 11-year-old victim for sexual activity while her parents were away, having engaged in multiple conversations through TikTok, expressing his desire to keep their relationship hidden and avoid legal consequences.   2. Authorities in Richmond County are searching for a tall, unidentified black male who is wanted for a strongarm rape and aggravated assault at a local apartment pool. The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday morning when a 37-year-old homeless woman was discovered naked by an employee. The victim reported being sexually assaulted and choked, and deputies have launched a thorough investigation, collecting evidence and providing medical attention to the survivor.
