The illegal drugs were sent to a Winder address from Mexico; 1 suspect has been arrested.

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office confiscated thousands of dollars in crystal methamphetamine sent earlier this week from Mexico to a Winder address.

Barrow deputies, assisted by Winder Police, seized 569 grams of meth after executing a search warrant at an apartment on Brookview Terrace on Tuesday, Sept. 9. The sheriff’s office said on Facebook that the street value of the meth is $62,000.

Lucero Arroyo, 25, from Mexico, was arrested and charged with possession, intent to distribute and trafficking in methamphetamine, the sheriff’s office said.
