"Smoke on the Mountain" Opens on February 27th

Local theater production of "Smoke on the Mountain"

The Winder-Barrow Community Theatre is proud to announce the cast of the upcoming production of “Smoke on the Mountain”. Cast members include Tery Overbey, Lynn Mulvey, Ken Greene, Sahar Brown, Jake Cooper, Ruth Miller, Joseph Hasty, Billie Nye-Muller, Elinor Hasty, Becky Pentecost, Cindy and Doug Olsen. This hilarious musical, written by Connie Ray with music by Mike Craver and Mark Hardwick, will open on Friday, February 27th and run for two weekends. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 with the Sunday matinees at 3:00 pm. Tickets are now on sale for the advance price of $10 for seniors (55 and older), students, and teachers. Adults are $12.50 in advance. Please purchase your tickets in advance to save you money and to guarantee you a seat. WBCT is expecting large crowds for this show. Tickets can be purchased in person or by phone with the City of Winder Customer Care Center (770-867-3106 Prompt one for Event Ticket Sales). They can also be purchased in person at Pam Veader’s State Farm Insurance office at 41 S. Center Street in Winder (770-867-1679 – cash or check).

“Smoke on the Mountain” is the story of the Sanders Family Singers who has come to do an evening of singing and witnessing at a small church in 1938. The laughs begin before they even arrive at the church. Come and enjoy the songs and laughter during a wonderful evening of live theater. This show is family friendly for older children, teens, and adults.

If you have not purchased your 2015 Season Tickets, you have a few more weeks until they are gone. The Season Ticket includes all four of the Main Stage shows (four comedies this year) and also gives you a 5th ticket that can be used to bring a friend to a show or for you to attend the Christmas show.
