Zoo Atlanta: Registration Now Open For Run Like Wild 5K

Registration is open now for the second-annual Run Like Wild 5K at Zoo Atlanta, set for Saturday, April 23, 2022. The run will take place around, in and through the Zoo, making Run Like Wild the city’s only 5K where runners will have opportunities to spot wildlife such as African lions, African elephants, or western lowland gorillas along their path.

An official Peachtree Road Race qualifying event, Run Like Wild also presents an opportunity to support conservation and education. The 2022 spotlighted species is the red panda.

The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. Runners must register online by April 19, 2022; no mail-in or race day registration will be available. Registration (ages 3 and up) is $45 if purchased by February 17; $50 thereafter. Registration includes chip timing; a commemorative Run Like Wild event T-shirt; a finisher’s medal; post-race food and drink at the After Party; and general admission to the Zoo following the After Party.

In addition to the 5K in the Zoo, Run Like Wild also offers a Virtual 5K option, open to participants of all ages at $40. Virtual runner registration includes an event T-shirt and a finisher’s medal.
