Book Fair

Sat., Sept. 14, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. -- BOOK FAIR -- Attention budding authors, readers, writers and local creative enthusiasts, come to the North Georgia Regional Book Fair to meet regional writers, hear talks and participate in interactive activities for the entire family at the University of North Georgia Convocation Center located at 180 Alumni Drive, Dahlonega, Georgia 30597. Come meet Anne Schlea, author of the new book Recruit of the Fallen, available Sept. 14 on Amazon which is the third and last book of the popular fallen angel’s series: Orphan of the Fallen and The Fallen. Schlea’s other works include Retribution universe and the beloved books Retribution, Contrition, Sovereign and Genesis.

“Christian Fantasy and Fiction” with Anne Schlea, Heather Thompson, and Shawn Gotch (room 119)

What is the difference between Christian Fantasy, Fantasy, and Christian Fiction? Our panel of authors will discuss their experiences creating their worlds and how each of these genres differs from the other. In doing so, our panelists will discuss: (1) The worlds in which people live; (2) the nature of humans and/or other beings; (3) the weapons or powers present; and (4) the over-arching themes and metanarratives.
