FORSYTH COUNTY — Several drugs and a 9-mm handgun were recovered after two people overdosed Friday in a Flowery Branch Road home, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

Deputies responded to the home on a medical emergency call, when they found the two people who suffered an overdose in the home, authorities said. Narcan was administered, and they were taken to the hospital for treatment, authorities said.

With possible illegal drugs seen in plain sight, authorities said members with the Johns Creek and Forsyth County Drug Task Force then executed a search warrant in the home.
