Vernice I. Sweatman of Carnesville, formally of Cumming, Ga. and member of the Daves Creek Baptist Church , died on November 24, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy W. Sweatman, daughter Joyce I. Smith,
son Horace C. Sweatman, parents Rev. Harley and Ali Pruitt, sister Christina Pruitt, and brothers
Jimmy, Luther, Lamar and Bobby Pruit.

Surviving children Morris J. Sweatman of Carnesville, Jerry and Ruth Sweatman of Carnesville and Diane and Marvin Oaks of Carnesville. Grandchildren Scott and Tammie Sweatman, Chris and Angela Sweatman, Teresa and Carey Harrison, Allen and Kristy Swearman, Douglas and Sherri Smith, Keith and Misty Smith, Greg and Stacy Smith, Tracy Sweatman, Stacy and Kristy Sweatman, Steven and Amanda Sweatman, Clinton and Amanda Sweatman, Amy Sweatman, Sonya and Paul Blodgett, Amber and Steven Smith, 26 Great-grandchildren, and 9 Great-Great
Grandchildren. Sisters and Brother in laws Fern and Rev. C.T. Evans, Ruby Bagley, Nancy and Rev. Ricky Hood. Brothers and sister in laws Leroy and Mary Pruitt, Rev. Carroll and Wonie Pruitt and Rev. Cecil and Montez Pruitt. Sisters in law, Marie Puritt, Ethel Benefield , Sarah Howard and Sandra Pruitt. Special Care Givers Joyce English and Amanda Sweatman. Numerous Nieces and Nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be Tuesday November 25 from 4:00-9:00 pm, Wednesday November 26 from 9:00am to 9:00pm and Friday November 28 from 9:00am until the Service which will be in the Chapel at Ingrams at 11:00am. Interment will be immediately following the service at Daves Creek Baptist Cemetery.
