Services Sunday for Murder-Suicide Victims
Police believe Rebecca Manning and her children were killed by her boyfriend last week before he killed himself.
A memorial service will be held this weekend for the three fatal victims in a murder-suicide last week.
The fatal victims have been identified as a mother and her two children: Rebecca Manning, 37, Jacob Smith, 9, and Jared Smith, 8.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel in Dawsonville.

Alleged shooter Matthew Fields, 32, was found dead at the home Wednesday from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police. He has been described as Rebecca Manning’s longtime boyfriend.

The children were found dead in the home. Rebecca Manning was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Jerry Manning, 75, was shot multiple times and remains hospitalized.
