  2. A stolen tow truck was involved in a fatal crash in Murray County that killed the owner of the truck from Whitfield County. The suspect who stole the tow truck was chased by the truck's owner in his pickup truck, leading to a collision that resulted in the death of the pickup truck driver and severe injuries to the tow truck driver. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident with assistance from the Murray County and Whitfield County Sheriff's Offices.(Local 3 News)
  3. Dalton soccer player Luis Favela has been a goal-scoring machine for the Catamounts this season. With his size, athleticism, and great shot, Favela has been a standout player for his team.
