Here are the top three stories in Dalton today:

  1. The Dalton Police Department is searching for Nicholas Lee Napier, who has been missing since Feb. 28. The 32-year-old man stands at about 5'11" with reddish brown hair and blue eyes; it is believed he may be in the Cleveland area but not confirmed. Anyone with information about Napier's location is asked to contact Detective Brian Shirley. (WDEF News 12F
  2. Dalton Academy continues to lead its students in the right direction post-graduation by setting up career fairs. The school offers career fairs so students can learn more about local companies and decide whether to pursue a future career there. Representatives from area colleges are also present to share information on higher education options. (WDEF News 12)
  3. Dalton police arrested 42-year-old Michael Kelley on Mar. 10 on an arrest warrant from McCracken County, KY. Kelley's warrant was connected to a sex trafficking investigation from January, in which he allegedly took both a 22-year-old woman and a 15-year-old juvenile from St. Louis. While waiting for the extradition process to proceed, Kelley is currently being held in Dalton; once moved to McCracken County, he will be charged with sodomy third-degree and first-degree sexual abuse.
