Here are the top three stories today in Dalton:

  1. Dalton's Finance Department recently received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 20th consecutive year. The award recognizes financial departments for their efforts in transparency and excellence and is awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association. (Dalton Daily Citizen)
  2. Students from Dalton High School and the Dalton Academy recently attended FutureFest, a combined college and career fair held at the Junior Achievement Discover Center. During the fair, students met with representatives from different local colleges and businesses to learn about the various options available to them after they graduate high school.
