  1. Georgia's House of Representatives on Thursday voted to pass House Bill 404, also known as the Safe at Home Act, which lays out certain requirements to protect renters and improve their living conditions in rentals. Under the bill, landlords are required to make rental properties "fit for human habitation" as a new lease is signed, and they are legally not allowed to turn off the air conditioning at the property during eviction proceedings. The bill now moves on to the Senate for voting. (11 Alive)
  2. Dalton's Artistic Civic Theatre will be presenting the popular stage comedy "Dearly Departed" as part of the theater's celebration of reaching its 30th season. The theater has performed the comedy four times throughout the last 30 seasons and will open its newest performance of the show on Mar. 10 at 7:30 p.m. (Subscription: Dalton Daily Citizen)
  3. First National Community Bank announced that it would be partnering with the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce as the sponsor for the chamber's first Economic Outlook Breakfast.
