  1. The Dalton Board of Education is seeking a new board member following the resignation of Vice Chairman Palmer Griffin, who is relocating to be closer to his family. The board expressed appreciation for Griffin's commitment and contributions to the education system in Dalton. Interested individuals have until May 31 to submit their letters of interest for the open seat. (Daily Citizen)
  2. Merry Maids is expanding its cleaning services to Dalton, with the opening of Merry Maids of Dalton by franchisee Tara Brackett and her husband Wesley Brackett.
