Dust off your ugliest holiday sweater, because you finally have a great reason to wear it! LifeLine Animal Project wants to see all of our shelter pets go home for the holidays, so we are offering free adoptions to anyone who comes into any of our shelters wearing an ugly holiday sweater! The free adoption promotion is valid through December 31 and also includes the animal’s spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip, a $300 value, for free.
The Ugly Sweater promotion is valid at all of LifeLine’s shelters including: DeKalb County Animal Services, 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee; Fulton County Animal Services, 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta; LifeLine Dog House & Kitty Motel, 129 Lake Street, Avondale Estates; and LifeLine Cat Adoption Center, 3172 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Scottdale.

Meet Salvatore, a six-year-old boy who is calm, sweet and gentle. He recently got to leave the shelter and spend the day with a volunteer through our “Dog for a Day” program, and here is what the volunteer had to say about him:
“I could not adore this dog more! If anyone is looking for a dog who loves to go for walks, give kisses, play and minutes later fall asleep in your lap, Salvatore would be the perfect fit! Salvatore knows how to sit and does great on a leash. He gets sudden bursts of energy while walking and jumps in place to let you know how much he's enjoying himself.

I took Salvatore to PetSmart, where met Santa, and met a ton of new friends! Salvatore loves all people and dogs, and he greeted everyone with a tail wag and often a hug (he gives the BEST hugs ever!). He was quiet and calm and entertained himself playing with toys which is one of his favorite things to do! He also does great in the car, and he enjoyed looking out the window before he finally fell asleep.”
