Douglas County's, Villa Rica's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The City of Douglasville Independence Day Parade & Celebration July 4th will include a festival at Hunter Park and fireworks, including a great viewing event at Arbor Place Mall.

The celebrate “America's Independence” at the City of Douglasville 4th of July parade will be
Thursday, July 4 at 10 a.m. The parade will travel West down Church Street.

The Parade registration deadline is 12 noon on Wednesday July 3. Download the registration form.

In year's past, the fireworks start at dusk and were shot from Hunter Park. They can usually be seen all throughout the community but many say the mall parking lot is the best place to see them.

Celebrate a day earlier by going to Villa Rica.

The 14th Annual Fireworks Display Extravaganza will be held Wednesday, July 3, at the Villa Rica Civic Center & Sports Complex (V-Plex).

Artists, vendors, craftsmen and performers make this a wonderful event for the community.

If you are interested in purchasing space for a vendor’s booth, note the stipulations:
duplication may occur, costs for space with and without electrical access, and all sells must be
conducted within 25’ of your designated area. All exhibits and arts & crafts vendors will be
located along the football field.

Entertainment will be underneath the covered stage.
