In Memory: Elizabeth Pauline Eidson, 72, of Douglasville

Elizabeth Pauline Eidson, age 72 of Douglasville, passed away, Monday, September 28, 2015.

She was born September 6, 1943 in Carroll County to the late John Ponder and Leona Whitten Ponder. She worked during her career in the manufacturing industry and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Edward Jerome Eidson; her children: Deanna McCain, Vincent Eidson, Brandon and his wife, Dawn Eidson, Laura and her husband, Jim Fucci, Beth Parson; sisters: Edith Ponder and Jeanette and Tony Vaughn; brothers: Dennis and Debra Ponder and Randy and Sherry Ponder; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert Parson, brothers and sisters: Charles Ponder, Brenda Willis, Ann Barnette, Tommy Ponder and Johnny Ponder.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ralph Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Mozley Memorial Gardens, with Brandon Eidson, Ben Ponder, Jody Willis and Bob Harper serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Parson, Seth Eidson and Jared Eidson.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
