  1. Following up on last week's story: A contractor involved in the removal of property from storage units at a Douglasville Self Storage facility has come forward, refuting claims of burglary. The contractor stated that he and his crew were instructed to clear out the units and take valuables, including vacuum cleaners, TVs, and speakers. He provided a copy of the contract he had with the construction company hired by the storage unit owners, which stated they would "dump all materials in units for cleanouts." Some tenants were instructed to file insurance claims to cover their property losses. (WSB-TV)
  2. The Douglas County Museum of History and Art has launched the "That's Entertainment" exhibit, highlighting the contributions of Douglas County residents in the arts and entertainment industry. The exhibit focuses on honoring local individuals who have made their mark in entertainment. Over the past week, local law enforcement agencies, specifically the Douglas County Fire/EMS Department and Douglas County School System Police Department, participated in training at the 2023 Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
