2 Duluth Men Charged With Murder After Fight Leads To Man's Death

DULUTH, GA β€” Two Duluth men are facing charges in connection with the beating death of 52-year-old Atlanta resident Raul Diaz-Villalba, Gwinnett County Police said Friday.

Diaz-Villalba was found bleeding and unconscious Dec. 20, 2022, in a Selman Drive home after a physical altercation with the suspects, police said. He had multiple lacerations, discoloration, a swollen face and head wounds, police said.

Police said Diaz-Villalba had gotten into a physical fight with the suspects over money.

He died at the hospital Jan. 14, police said.

The cause of death was determined Jan. 17 to be head injuries he suffered during a fight with the suspects, police said.

Bryan Alvarado, 21, and Yeison Alvarado, 23, are charged on suspicion of felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, robbery and false imprisonment, police said.
