Bridge Work to Reroute Canton Road Connector

Weather permitting, a night time detour will reroute Canton Road traffic accessing the entrance ramps to I-75 Southbound to set bridge beams, the Georgia Department of Transportation says.

Work will be held tonight, Wednesday, and Thursday during the off-peak hours of 9:00PM to 5:00AM.

Canton Road Connector traffic traveling I-75 Southbound will be directed to take the I-75 Northbound ramp to travel northbound to Barrett Parkway (Exit 269). Traffic will then be directed to turn left on Barrett Parkway followed by another left to then enter I-75 Southbound via the ramp from Barrett Parkway.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving in these areas. On-site message boards indicating dates, times and detour routes will be present in advance of these closures.

Please be advised that construction activities, including material deliveries, may result in traffic delays prior to the start of any lane closure or detour.
