In Loving Memory of William Alfred Phillips, 75

Mr. William Alfred Phillips age 75 of Kennesaw passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at home with his loving family at his side. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Alfred Lon and Palma Knight. He worked for RGI Printing in Marietta and retired five years ago as Vice President of Sales. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving stateside during Vietnam. Mr. Phillips had a skill of being a good communicator, which went right along with his love for people He had an unmatched stamina that served him well for snow skiing, woodworking and racquetball. He was well known by his friends for his wildlife paintings. He enjoyed the “mens club” at Durham Heritage Estates which he hosted every other Thursday. Christmas was his favorite time of year and he loved decorating for the holidays. Zoe, his bichon frise, brought much joy and laughter to his life. He was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta.

Son – Mark and Cindi Phillips of Kennesaw, GA
Grandson – Tyler Phillips of Kennesaw, GA
other survivors many cousins and friends

The family will receive friends from 2 o’clock pm until service time at 3 o’clock pm, January 10, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Glenn Ray officiating.
