1 Dead In Lawrenceville Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer

A car rear-ended a parked tractor-trailer early Tuesday, killing the driver of the car.

LAWRENCEVILLE — A driver died around 3 a.m. Tuesday after their car rear-ended a tractor-trailer on State Route 316 near Cedars Road, according to Gwinnett County Police and Atlanta News First.

Police said the car left the roadway and hit the back of a parked vehicle on the right shoulder. Atlanta News First reported the vehicle was a tractor-trailer.

The driver of the car, who was not identified, died of their injuries. The status of the tractor-trailer driver is unknown.
