Have you heard the beat on the street? Starting April 18, every Thursday night through July, the DTL will come alive after six with this DJ and Art Series! 
Come hungry for restaurant specials, sidewalk sales, patio dancing, community building, and a unique “mix” of art in the historic Downtown Lawrenceville Square. The line-up will feature some of the best DJs in the region along with multiple mediums of art and performances. 
On the third Thursday of each month, businesses are encouraged to stay open late with a special sidewalk sale and art vendors will pop up throughout the square. Join us Thursdays from 6 pm – 10 pm!

The National Council of Negro Women, Gwinnett Section will present its 2nd annual&nbsp;Black Family Reunion, taking place at Rhodes Jordan Park on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, featuring business sponsors and community partners within the area.&nbsp;
The Black Family Reunion is Gwinnett NCNW’s signature summer event. This event will have multiple activities for family members of all ages. A live DJ, family friendly games, food, and prizes will be given away. This is a free event for the Gwinnett community taking place rain or shine.
Families are encouraged to bring their tents, lawn chairs, blankets, and food baskets to relax in the open green area or shaded pavilion while taking in the tranquility of the park’s pond just steps away. A playground area for children borders the second pavilion where guests can engage in lively board and card games. Numerous grills will be available and event sponsors will be featured in the main gathering spot to engage with attendees.&nbsp;
The Black Family Reunion will take place from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on August 10, 2024.&nbsp;

The City of Lawrenceville presents CULTURA: Fiesta Latina, a full sensory experience celebrating the diversity of Latin Culture through live music, street performances, food, art, and so much more! No matter what your background is, there is something fun to explore at CULTURA! This inclusive event is designed to celebrate a wide range of diverse cultural expressions. To some, it feels like coming home... to others, it is a destination for exploration. 
What to expect at this FREE Latin culture festival? Enjoy CULTURA throughout Downtown Lawrenceville with a special Fiesta del Barrio on the square featuring DJs, street performances, live music, and cocktail specials. Get down to the Lawn for an energetic live music lineup, a maker’s market featuring local Latin artists and curators, and a food court with all of your favorite local Latin food pop-ups with a variety of savory and sweet Latin treats. 
After the concert at the Lawn ends, the audience is invited to join a Carnivale-inspired street parade with costumed performers which leads from the Lawn to Fiesta del Barrio (on the square) for more live music and dancing!
