During School Social Work Week (March 6-12), GCPS recognizes the contributions of the district's School Social Workers! GCPS' 34 School Social Workers are an important link between home, school, and the community. They work closely with families, teachers, administrators, and other support staff to help remove barriers to learning for our children and young people. School Social Workers are trained mental health professionals who can provide assistance with behavioral and mental health concerns. We celebrate their work and all that they do to support our students and their families!
