Lawrenceville Suspect Accused Of Robbing 2 Women At Gunpoint Sought

Police said the man followed the two women out of a Duluth Highway restaurant, got into their car and demanded money.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Authorities are searching for an armed robbery suspect accused of robbing two women in a Duluth Highway restaurant parking lot earlier this month.

Gwinnett County Police said Tuesday the suspected robbery happened around 8 p.m. on Oct. 6. Police added a man followed the two women out of the restaurant.

After the women got into their car, police said the man got into the back passenger seat and brandished a handgun. The man was accused of demanding money, which the women gave him, and running away from the scene.

Police described the suspect as a young Hispanic man who wore a Los Angeles Dodgers hat with a decal on the bill. He had a black jacket, as well as blue, black and white plaid pants, and he wore a crossbody bag.
