Pedestrian Dies After Hit And Run: Lawrenceville Police

A 21-year-old man died after a hit and run accident early Wednesday morning.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA—The Lawrenceville Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident that left a 21-year-old man dead.

Police say the accident happened early Wednesday morning on the S.R. 316 westbound exit ramp to Collins Hill Road and Lendon Connector.

Police found Frances Megland, 21, of Lawrenceville suffering from critical injuries. Officers and Gwinnett Fire began helping him. Police say Megland was transported to Northside Gwinnett Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
