The traffic stop was being conducted on Highway 120, where a black Kia Sorento sped pass officers before making a U-turn and driving back toward them, the GBI said.

Cicalo was accused of leaving his vehicle and attempting to steal the police cruiser. The GBI said officers gave him commands to comply, and ultimately, officers shot and killed him.
