Public's Help Sought In Lawrenceville Armed Robbery

The person was taking out the trash, when police say two people pistol whipped him in the head and shot him in the leg during a robbery.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two people accused of recently pistol whipping a person and shooting him while he was taking out the trash.

Gwinnett County Police said Tuesday the shooting happened on Sept. 9, when the pair was accused of robbing the man while he was taking out the trash from his apartment. Police said one of the suspects shot the person in the leg after pistol whipping him in the head.

Police did not say what was taken during the robbery.

Police described one of the suspects as a heavy set Black male who was wearing blue shorts and a black shirt. Police said the other suspect was a slender Black male with a short afro who was wearing blue jeans, green underwear and a black hoodie.
