LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — One of two suspects accused of shooting at a kiosk employee at Sugarloaf Mills Mall in early August has surrendered, Gwinnett County Police said Wednesday.

Police said Ethan Dumas turned himself into the Gwinnett County Jail on Sept. 11. Jail records show Dumas, 20, was charged on suspicion of three counts of aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, first-degree criminal damage to property, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime.

No charges have been filed against the second suspect, who has not yet been identified, police told Patch.

No one was injured in the shooting, which resulted from an argument between the two people and the employee that then led to a physical confrontation, police said in the past. Two video clips and an audio clip were released days after the shooting as police worked to identify the suspects.

"The incident was frightening and caused immediate panic among the patrons of the mall. The incident was an isolated argument and was not an active shooter ...," police said in a past news release.
