3 Lanes To Close On I-75

MARIETTA, GA —Wednesday night, three lanes of Interstate 75 in Cobb County will be shut down as crews work on bridge repairs.

The closure — between Canton Road (Exit 267) and Interstate 575 (Exit 268) — will begin at 9 p.m. and run through midnight, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. It will impact the three left lanes of I-75 northbound.

The DOT says the work will be fixing "a minor bridge deck issue."

As always, the DOT advises motorists in the area to expect delays and urges them to use caution and reduce their speeds.
