Cobb County DFCS Office To Relocate

The county department will close its Fairground Street location on Feb. 10.

MARIETTA, GA — The Division of Family and Children Services is relocating its Cobb County office.

According to the Georgia Department of Human Services Tuesday, the Cobb DFCS office will close its Fairground Street location on Feb. 10.

The division is moving to 1090 Northchase Pkwy. Southeast, Suite 200, in Marietta. Doors will open to the public at 9 a.m., Feb. 14.

"The new office building will house staff providing economic assistance and child welfare services to more than 100,000 families in Cobb County," human services staff said in a news release.

The DFCS office accepts walk-ins from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday. The office is closed Friday-Monday.
