Cobb County Food Scores: Truist Park, Kale Me Crazy, O'Charley's

COBB COUNTY, GA — Headed to a Braves game or out for drinks with friends? Cobb County offers plenty of dining options, no matter what you're in the mood for. Whether you're up north in Acworth or down south in Austell, take a look at the latest restaurant inspection scores from the past week.

A total of 92 Cobb County restaurants and food-service operations were inspected since Sept. 15 — the last time Patch posted a restaurant score roundup — in Acworth, Atlanta, Austell, East Cobb, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta and Smyrna.

Of the 92 restaurants, 77 received grades of A, 13 of them received grades of B and two received a C: 1871 Grille Stand 113 at Truist Park and Rio Steakhouse and Bakery in Marietta. None received an unacceptable score.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70 and U for less than 70.
